We Honor Tradition And Ancient Craftsmanship

In our Pizzificio, our master pizzaiolos use an ancient Neapolitan recipe dating back to 1889 to create Talia’s distinct taste and aroma. This special skill is passed on from our head Pizzaolos down to their young apprentices to continue the pizza-making tradition the Neopolitan way. Each pizza is then baked in a handbuilt, brick oven fueled by 100% sustainably-sourced wood.

This is where the nickname The Sleeping Pizza comes in: Within seconds of coming out of the oven, our pizzas are flash-frozen and put to “sleep” using a state-of-the-art, patented cryogenic chamber. The extremely low temperature preserves the pizza and all its fresh ingredients exactly as is (think Hans Solo, deep-space travel hibernation level) ready to “wake up” in just 10 minutes when your craving for Italia calls.

What’s The Safest Way To Dispose Of The Dry Ice?

Our dry ice comes sealed in a plastic bag, and much of it will slowly evaporate during transit. Use caution and protective gloves to remove any remaining pieces, and place in a well ventilated area (away from children and pets) to sublimate. Do not eat, drink, dispose in garbage receptacles, place on tile or laminate countertops, leave in unventilated areas, or store in airtight or glass containers.

We ship nationwide in the United States (for free!) including Alaska and Hawaii.

Where are your Sleeping Pizzas made?

Each pizza is artisanally handmade by our own master pizzaiolo chefs in Naples, Italy in a nut-free, gluten-freeTK facility. We use the same process as a Neapolitan restaurant. We do not outsource any part of the production. Read the full story behind our unique pizzas here.

How Much Does It Cost? How Many Pizzas Are In Each Pack?

Pricing varies from $99.54 to $106.52 depending on the type of pizza pack you purchase, with 6 pizzas per single flavor pack and 8 pizzas per assorted flavor pack.

How Is The Pizza Shipped?

Your pizza packs are shipped (exclusively with Fedex) with dry ice in specially-designed packaging that was designed with insights by professors at Rutgers University Packaging Engineering School.
